Ashwini nakshatra

 ASHWINI NAKSHATRA1. There are 27 nakshatras out of which, Ashwini is considered as the first nakshatra. Ashwini or ashwa means horses. The appearance of this nakshatra appears like a face of horse hence it is named as Ashwini nakshatra.2. Ashwini nakshatra lies in mesha rashi and its lord is kethu. The planet which gets exalted in Ashwini is sun. The adi devata or presiding deity for this nakshatra is goddess saraswati.3. Since sun gets exalted here in Ashwini nakshatra. The adi devata or presiding deity for sun is lord shiva. Hence praying to lord shiva temple on Ashwini nakshatra day and praying to lord shiva will ensure success in government related matters.4.
